Understanding Kogan NBN Service
Your Kogan NBN service is provided on a month-to-month plan, meaning you can discontinue at any time without incurring early exit fees.
It’s important to use a compatible modem that meets NBN’s standards for a smooth transition if you’re considering switching to a different service.
Checking Contract and Fees
Review the terms and conditions of your Kogan NBN service agreement to confirm there are no additional requirements before canceling.
Check your most recent bill to determine where you are in your billing cycle and to avoid unnecessary charges from Kogan or your new provider if you’re transferring services.
Should you need assistance, Kogan’s Customer Support can be contacted to clarify any doubts regarding your account or cancellation process.
Cancellation Process
When you decide to cancel your Kogan NBN service, there are several key steps you need to follow to ensure a smooth transition.
This includes contacting support to close your account, returning any equipment if necessary, understanding the charges on your final bill, and potentially transitioning to another provider.
Contacting Kogan NBN Support
To initiate the cancellation, reach out to Kogan NBN Support directly. You may choose to contact them via email with your customer number and personal details, or by calling their dedicated support line. It’s crucial to specify the desired end date for your service.
Kogan Returns
If you have a Kogan NBN modem or other equipment that was on loan, you’ll be expected to return it. Check the equipment return guidelines provided by Kogan’s Help Centre to avoid incurring additional fees.
Understanding the Final Bill
Your final bill from Kogan Internet will include any outstanding charges up until the end date of your service.
Review it carefully for early termination charges if applicable, as well as any pro-rata fees for the final service period. Inform yourself about potential costs by checking the terms and conditions on their website.
Transition to another Provider
Should you choose to transition to another provider, whether it’s Telstra, TPG, Optus, iiNet, or another NBN provider, it’s important to coordinate the end of your Kogan service with the start of your new one to avoid a lapse in internet connectivity.
If you’re considering a non-NBN option, like Kogan 4G Home Internet, ensure that you understand the differences in service and coverage.
