Optus Sport via SubHub Lifting Prices In August!

Optus Sport via SubHub

Optus has recently announced an update to the pricing of its Optus Sport subscription via SubHub, effective from 1 August 2024.

The price will increase from $6.99 to $9.99 per month. While any price change can raise eyebrows, this adjustment brings with it a reaffirmation of Optus Sport’s commitment to delivering unparalleled value to football fans.

A Positive Spin

Optus Sport via SubHub

Optus Sport is renowned for offering access to the world’s best football, including live matches, full replays, mini matches, exclusive interviews, and dedicated weekly football shows.

This coverage ensures that subscribers never miss a moment of the action, whether they are following their favourite teams or catching up on key highlights.

The EUROs and Copa America have been an incredible viewing, and watching the games later in the day is unparalleled.

In terms of money for value, I believe that Optus Sport provides one of the best football packages in the world, purely based on content and coverage.

No Price Change On Normal Plans

Whilst Optus are increasing the price by $3 for SubHub customers, the normal monthly and annual plans will not increase.

The annual plan is listed at $199 per month, with no foreseeable changes, as Optus discount long term plans such as that.

Even with the $3 lift, SubHub customers will still get everything on Optus Sport for just $9.99 per month, or close to $120 per year.

We’ve previously touched based on how Optus has consistently delivered for football fans, in comparison to other streaming providers.

This small price increase will see the platform get even better, due to further reinvestment into potential new leagues and shows.

Want To Cancel Optus Sport?

Managing the subscription is straightforward, with options to adjust preferences via Optus SubHub, the Optus My Account portal, or the Optus Sport account page.

Customer support is readily available through various channels, ensuring that any queries or issues are promptly addressed.

You can find more on how to contact Optus, by visiting How To Cancel Your Optus Plan.

Conclusion

In summary, the updated pricing for Optus Sport via SubHub is a reflection of the platform’s evolving value, rather than a simple price hike.

With continuous improvements in content and coverage, Optus Sport subscribers can anticipate an even richer and more immersive football experience.
