Samsung TV Plus is adding Luke Nguyen’s World in Australia, giving viewers another way to watch the Australian-Vietnamese chef’s food and travel programmes. Samsung announced the channel on 28 September as part of a wider expansion of its creator lineup.

What you need to know

Look for Luke Nguyen’s World in the TV Plus guide on a compatible Samsung Smart TV. TV Plus is supported by advertising and requires an internet connection. Check your exact TV model and Samsung account requirements before relying on access.

What is on the new channel?

Samsung describes a collection spanning more than 95 episodes across nine seasons, following Nguyen through food, culture and travel. That is the announced programme collection; it does not establish that every episode can be selected on demand in Australia.

The launch names Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand for Luke Nguyen’s World. Other additions in Samsung’s global announcement have different market scopes. Happy Place, Golf Life and JOE Media are named for the UK; Mark Rober TV is named for Brazil and Mexico.

For Australian viewers, the local guide is the useful place to begin. A global service announcement can describe several country catalogues at once, so check the programme you want on the television you actually use.

How to find it on your TV

Samsung’s Australian support guide explains the Smart TV route. Menu names and remote controls vary by model; its screenshots should be treated as guidance rather than an exact picture of every television.

  1. Check that your Samsung Smart TV supports TV Plus in Australia and has an internet connection.

  2. Open the Samsung TV Plus tile on the TV’s home screen.

  3. Open Guide and look for Luke Nguyen’s World in the available channels.

  4. Check the schedule and select a programme that is playing. Use an On Demand option only where the guide offers one.

If the app or channel is missing, confirm the model’s Australian support information and check the TV software is current. We have not verified a channel number or tested the new channel on an Australian television for this report.

If the channel loads but playback keeps buffering, follow our streaming fault-check guide.

Does “free” mean there are no conditions?

Samsung presents TV Plus as a free streaming service supported by advertising. Its Australian service page includes a Samsung account requirement. Internet access remains necessary, so consider any data allowance or charges associated with your connection.

There is also a viewing-format question. A live channel’s schedule and a selectable episode library offer different experiences. Samsung’s support guide says on-demand viewing is available where an On Demand button appears; the channel announcement does not confirm that the full Nguyen collection is selectable whenever you want.

A useful addition for an existing compatible TV

If you already own a compatible television, checking the guide is a small next step. Look at the programmes available, the advertising and whether the schedule suits the way you watch. The announcement provides a reason to explore an existing device without needing to make a purchase decision.

For a particular episode, check both its scheduled broadcast and any available on-demand listing. Save the programme details rather than assuming the channel’s catalogue will remain identical across countries or over time.
