Optus International Calling & Roaming provides a good option for Aussie consumers who want to make International calls to overseas countries.

Optus International Talk & Text is the add-on option that Optus provides to its customers that provides incredibly good value for calls. If you’re already a customer, you can add the pack on for just $10 for Group 1 & Group 2 calls and $20 for Group 3 calls.

The other International option Optus offers is Optus International Daily Roaming is another add-on option that provides users with 5GB of data daily for $5 per day.

Optus offers a variety of international roaming options for both postpaid and prepaid customers, catering to different travel needs and budgets with plans covering Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3 countries.

To be eligible for this International add-on, you must be on the following Optus plans;

  • Optus Plus Family
  • Optus Plus Kids

How To Set Up International Calling With Optus

Okay so now you know the zones and how to install it. It’s straightforward, go onto the Optus app and select the service tab, there you will see Optus International Talk & Text, select it, and then follow the payment prompts.

That’s it! If you get stuck, you can call the Optus team on 1300 278 934 to initiate the order on your behalf. Now, let’s get into the International roaming.

International Roaming Pass

Optus Roaming Pass and add-ons simplify managing international roaming costs. The Optus Roaming Pass offers data as well as call and text allowances for just $5 per day in eligible countries.

This add-on cost may vary by destination but provides an alternative for Optus customers who prefer paying for just what they need rather than a daily rate.

Once again, you need to be on the following plans to be eligible for this add-on;

  • Optus Choice Plus
  • Optus Plus Family
  • Optus Plus Promo
  • Business Choice Plus

If you’re on one of those plans then great, if not, roaming rates may not be worth the cost, so you must find cost-effective alternatives.

How To Set Up Optus Daily Roaming
